• As I sat on my porch enjoying a warm cup of coffee, I was so incredibly drawn into this inspiring family adventure which provided the author, Michelle Meek, daily revelations leading to the true heart of God. In this beautifully written book, she describes the loss of her husband, Steve, and how her travels “Out West” were not only an adventure but also a true healing journey. The discoveries within this manuscript and the lessons learned along the way will serve as a guide to seek the Lord for strength and comfort through grief into His marvelous light. Goodbye Is Not Goodbye is sure to bring renewed joy and strength to the grief-stricken soul searching for understanding and peace.

  • While grieving the recent losses of my husband, mother, and brother, I was presented with this book proposal for edit and review. Though reluctant at first due to the intensity of my grief, I agreed to assist and experienced firsthand how many of the revelations from God as outlined in Goodbye Is Not Goodbye helped me. I was able to read and review at my own pace which allowed for times to lay it down if needed until I was at a point to pick it back up again and even get excited to read the next section or her rewrite. The monumental reminder I received from this book is that we are not alone. Even in the depths of emptiness and loss, God never leaves us. The illustrations outlined in the book, each tying to scripture, spoke to me over and over. As I read the chapter about the eagles, I gained strength and encouragement that God was supporting me. This is indeed a project of love for Michelle, her love for Steve, and her love for God, the core of which can be felt as you journey through her story with her. You will see and feel her love and find your own love grow. Goodbye Is Not Goodbye will bring tears, smiles, and joy as you read it, just as it did for me.
